Injection molding is a widely used manufacturing process for producing plastic parts with high precision and efficiency. It involves injecting molten plastic into a mold to create a solid part.

OUR PROCESS

1

Clamping

  • Mold Setup: The mold, consisting of two halves (cavity and core), is securely clamped together by the clamping unit.
  • Clamping Force: The clamping unit applies significant force to keep the mold closed during injection.
2

Injection

  • Material Feeding: Plastic granules or pellets are fed from a hopper into the injection unit.
  • Melting: The plastic is heated and melted by the screw and barrel within the injection unit.
  • Injection: The molten plastic is injected into the mold cavity through a nozzle and runner system using high pressure.
3

Cooling

  • Solidification: The injected plastic cools and solidifies in the mold, taking the shape of the mold cavity.
  • Cooling System: Channels within the mold circulate coolant to expedite the cooling process.
4

Mold Opening

  • Separation: Once the part has solidified, the clamping unit opens the mold, separating the two halves.
5

Ejection

  • Part Removal: Ejector pins or plates push the finished part out of the mold cavity.
  • Ejection System: The ejection mechanism is activated to release the part without causing damage.
